MWRacing NG Road Racing 2011 Round 3 Cadwell Park
The MWRacing team finally make their first race meeting of the year with NG Road Racing; Mark Walker enjoying his first experience of race pace at the epic Cadwell Park race circuit in Lincolnshire. Arriving on a machine that for all sorts of reasons had been given next to no testing and had its engine run in the day before in testing Mark put on a great show for the crowd bring home his first Formula 400 points of the year with a finish of 9th place. He of course wanted more being the hard taskmaster he is, but given the circumstances of him even being able to make it to the race meeting he settled for his results for now. With the brand new 2011 spec team built VFR hardly putting a foot wrong he knows that with a few more tweaks he will be able to set a fire underneath the competition at the next round at Pembrey Race Circuit.
MWRacing EMRA 2010 Round 4 Mallory Park
Unexpectedly, this was MWRacing's best round yet. After losing the front in the first F400 race, causing enough damage to the bike to make him miss the Roadstocks race that immediately followed; Mark had it all to do. Not quite sure what hitting the dust did to him at Edwinas chicane but it set his riding on fire. Seeing the first of some brave moves to make up for the races he missed we see him riding the wheels off his MW Racing Honda VFR to give his best finish yet ending up leading a Kawasaki ZX6, Honda SP1 and a Aprilia RSV1000 ending in a epic battle with Matt Jory's #198 ZXR400 being pipped to the post with a neck and neck finish to the chequered flag. MWRacing EMRA 2010 Round 3 Mallory Park
A real scorcher of a day for MWRacing with blazing sunshine. Learning that tyre pressures really need tweaking when the track temp is +20 degrees and that *trying* to go faster means you actually go more slowly! Slowly resolving issues with his machine - namely some very distracting warped front discs. Mark grows his confidence gaining experience with more battles with bikes bigger than him and then finally but sadly not on film (see near the end), a epic duel with Louise Rout on her #35 CBR400 Honda. The soundtrack telling everyone, its not over for him - it has only begun! Read more about MWRacing at http://www.mwracing.org
MWRacing EMRA 2010 Round 2 Mallory Park
Come rejoin Mark Walker and the MWRacing team at the Second Round of nail biting Mallory Park action. This was a tough round for him with all sorts of hard lessons to be learned. Nearly endo-ing the bike, getting caught in surprise rain in the middle of a race on dry tyres and out-braking himself into the hairpin chasing down some 600s. Some fantastic battles were had with Daniel Stamper also shown on the white number 80 machine. With a lack of usable footage we have made this a trailer style video. The atmosphere to show that Mark was struggling but his determination and tenacity shows that he considers this all part of the process for him to grow into the formidable road racer he knows he can be. MWRacing EMRA 2010 Round 1 Mallory Park
Mark Walker in his first round at Mallory Park and his first ever year in Motorcycle Road Racing. Learning the way round, the *ahem* right way to setup your forks the hard way and the infamous Gerrards corner. His first time at the track, never been before. Running to the Roadstocks, F400, Newcomers after working out the Mallory Trophy was somewhat pointless being the only 400cc machine on the grid he will mainly be at Mallory Park this season with the odd round at Darley Moor.
